Knut Hartmann, born 1949 in Neuwied, studied design in Treves and Bournemouth before founding his design agency in Frankfurt/Main in 1977.
In the 80s ““khdesign”:http://khdesign.de” was one of the first agencies having already employed computers for the design process. Knut Hartmann is member of the TDC, Type Directors Club, New York and found member of the PDA, Pan European Design Association. Knut Hartmann functions as lecturer for brand- and packing design at the Design School in Wiesbaden. In cooperation with five other design agencies from the USA, France, Spain, Taiwan and Australia, he founds an international Brand-Agency-Network in 2005.
