The Luminale
The “Luminale” will take place for the fourth time in 2008 parallel to the Light + Building Trade Fair. In 2006 there were 178 different light projects and 158 events in the trade fair city and in the regions between the Rhine Valley and Karlsruhe, Wiesbaden and Aschaffenburg. The “Luminale” is one of the most significant Light Cultural Festivals worldwide. The diversity and broadness of the offer is unique.
Light installations, Artistic light, Performances, Exhibitions, Previews and Parties show the fascinating possibilities in dealings with light.
The exhibitors of the Light + Building present the effectiveness of their products through the staging of buildings, through light and sound installations, at venues like harbors or ports, in parks and museums. The light designers and light artists transform urbane rooms in to light laboratory. Bus lines connect the nightly scenes with one another.
Knut Hartmann will be presenting “City Lights III” at the “Luminale” 08 in the “Luminale” -“Highlight Center” Heyne-Factory in Offenbach. Big splurge digital photographs on canvas and slides as well as multimedia staging of his worldwide city-icons will be displayed.
In the Novex-areas of the Heyne-Factory, entrance Ludwig street 180a, one will be able to see the big pictures in combination with modern office furniture scenery. The multimedia show will take place in the inner yard of the Heyne-Factory, in the factory hall next to building 09.
The opening hours are from April 6th 2008 until April 11th 2008.
